why nurses leave their home country health system?

would they think to come back home?

what they need to come back?

is there relations between the previous work place and their decisions to leave?

how nurses leave to work overseas and behind the borders?

From what I have observed at work, many of the Overseas Nurses left their country for one reason and one reason only: $$$$$$$

The money definitely, but for most it is only a means to something more altuistic and personal.

I know many Canadian nurses come to the US for the money and for training in specialty areas and full time work. Often that isn't available in their area in Canada. Most that I know do wind up going back after a few years because there are other things in life that matter more and they find out that the grass isn't always greener.

Answering your questions my friend, i would say that the main reason for inmigration is not jus the money.

The country health system of many of us really does not work. Working more than two thousand hours per month and earning less than $300 is not fair. Our system is ineffective, we do not receive enough training, the pieces of equipment are insuficient and very old too, our effort for study is not well considered,our goals are limited by these kind of problems.

I know many of foreing nurses think to come back home someday, it is a dream to achieve, a deep and strong feeling, but the reality is different to our emotional reasons.

The better life conditions that other country offer us and our family are stronger when you think to come back.

The system is not going to change just because our best wishes.

Finally, i can say my country is the most beautiful place that exist in the world, but it is not the safest and peaceful. And the protection and well being of my family are the most important things to get and keep.

For me, its is not money although I truly want to have a better lot for me and my family. :)

To me, its is more of what is happening to my country that makes me sick. I am paying taxes to the government that I know will go to the pockets of the political leaders here. A lot of people who doesn't even pay a single cent to the government gets free housing just because they are squatters. Our political leaders are so indifferent to our needs. Our national government have a fiscal deficits and yet our congressmen and senators still insist of keeping their pork barrels where they can lay their hands on for personal use and political gains. :angryfire They are so busy lining their pockets. There are graft and corruptions everywhere, in all government agencies and in the private industries. Even our military is also beset with corruptions, soldiers dying in the fields fighting Islamic extremists and communists rebels with no boots on, while our generals are busy depositing money for personal use intended for the soldiers in the field. :angryfire

And not one single person guilty of corruption was even put to jail. :angryfire

Even the families/friends/cronies of the dictator who ruled us brutally for twenty years are still around roaming free. They had steal millions of dollars from the state coffers, killed innocent people and no punishment was given to them. Even a former president who stole millions from the government still receive special treatment from the government. :angryfire

There are other things I could say here to justify my plan to immigrate. :)

For those of you who said that we are in for the money, then you are wrong. There are other reasons why we are doing this. :)
