I'm not sure!

Im not sure if I can do it. Did anyone out there not pass their 1st semester of nursing school and go on to become a nurse? I didnt pass my 1st sem. missed it by 1point in nursing 105, 2points in pharm. Nursing school was the hardist thing ive ever been thru. But I loved working with the patients and learning the info, I just had so much other stuff on my mind(work, money, family) and was so out of my element. Just not sure I can do it now.

I went to school with some people who didn't pass their first semester and went on to become nurses (and they're great at it). If it's what you want, don't give up. However, you have to put it high in your thoughts--it's HARD!

Since you'll be repeating what you took, those courses should be easier for you, at least!

One point means you could have just as easily have passed. So no worries. You can do it.

Nursing school is very strenous, you definitely have to make it a priority, right up there with God and family!! I hope you have a supportive family, otherwise it is that much harder. Still, you missed by just a few points, I wonder why the instructors didn't offer any extra credit or remediation to help you pass? They should see right off the bat who is struggling and offer to help. I really wish you the best and hope you keep pressing on!
