I'm not sure what to do?

I'm taking microbiology and A&P 2b right now. I have almost an A in A&P but, a C so far in microbiology. I need to get a B in microbiology for the nursing program. If I pass with a C, I will not be able to retake it at my school. If I drop the class now, I will have a W on my transcripts. Or I could bomb the test to get a D. My question is what looks better on your transcripts a W or a D? I do not want to drop or fail. It goes against what I believe in but, I do not have a choice.

I spoke to my teacher about this she was thrilled I was passing. She kept telling me micro is hard. Any advice would be a great help. I just feel so hopeless.

Can you retake it if you withdrawal now? I think it would be better for you, GPA wise to make sure you get better than a C. OTOH, there are many schools (mostly CCs) that only require you to pass with at least a C. It would depend on these two factors, IMHO.

I want to drop but, I'm just not sure how a W will look on my transcripts. Do you know?

As far as schools go, I want to go to the local CC. Gas is so high right now. It wouldn't be cost effective for me to commute. I will if I have to but, I'm hoping to avoid it.
