I just wanted to say congratulations! How exciting.

I've only heard good things about the Rush NA program. I used to work at Rush. Way to go!

Congratulations to you, too! Are you going to take classes before June? You can email me through my profile if you want.

I have been accepted at Rush as well! Anyone taking classes now, perhaps we are in the same class.

Congratulations! I'm not taking classes now, but I plan to take pathophys and physiology in the winter. Are you guys from the Chicago area? Do you work around here?

Specializes in SICU.

I live in Chicago, Lincoln Park. I work at University of Chicago in the SICU. Where are you from?

Hey I am taking patho 1 and physiology 1 right now and I am taking the second parts winter quarter.

Hey, MICU, I guess we'll be in the same classes next quarter. I just met with my advisor yesterday and registered. Pegleg, I sent you an email a couple of days ago; not sure if you got it. In case you didn't, I work at Rush-Copley in Aurora. Are you taking classes next quarter? I'm really excited, but now starting to freak out a little, too.

Hey! Wow you kids are on top of things! I also received my acceptance letter a while back. I only have a couple classes done at this point, so winter and spring quarter I'll be taking phy and patho I (plus a couple others). I think Rush is the only program to which I applied where students complete this many credit hours prior to actually starting. Looks like I'll be busy! SO EXCITED - big move ahead, so I'll certainly be looking for tips on places to live...

To everyone who was accepted - do you mind sharing your numbers (gre/gpa/yrs exp)?

Thanks and many congrats to all!!!

Sure, Raas. My undergrad GPA overall is 3.13, nursing 3.43. I have 12 credits of graduate nursing classes with a 4.0. GRE 1360 (760 math, 600 verbal) 4.0 writing. I have 5 years ICU experience (6 when the program starts) in 3 different ICUs, all of which were general units (not divided into med, surg, neuro, cv, etc). I have ACLS, PALS, FCCS and CCRN. Let me know if you have any other questions!
