I'm over floor nursing

Never thought I'd get to a point where I can't handle pts that have poor habits, attitudes and disrespect those that are trying to help them..been a nurse for a few years but the acuity of some of the patients on my floor has been getting worse. Feels like there's no support from management and the cattiness amongst the nurses just makes it that much worse..what other nursing jobs do you guys recommend that aren't as high stress?..and if you deal with this type of scenario how do you handle it?

I recently transitioned into case management for an insurance company after having worked the floor for 10 years. My stress level is lower and, best of all, I only get to see the patient for perhaps a few minutes.

Many threads here on this topic. Start researching on AN and the existing job boards .. for positions that meet your qualifications.
