S. suburban is not expensive. Its a community college. And where ever you heard good things about it, is totally wrong. Run far, far away from that school. It's a dump, and I would never want a nurse from there taking care of me!
Instead of tearing one program apart with negative generalizations, it would be more helpful to the member to provide positive examples about a program you are personally familiar with........perhaps the program you attend or attended.

Hey guys,
I will graduating with my LPN in July 2013 from a college in Iowa and am looking into moving to Illinois, hopefully the Chicago area. I know there are not too many LPN to BSN options which would be my first option. I have heard about St. Xavier and South Suburban which I have read good things about, even though I know both are quite expensive. I heard a very common route would also be LPN to ADN option through City of Colleges.. I heard Truman was the best option? I read that you have to get your prereqs done before even getting on the waiting lists at the City of Colleges? Any additional information on St. Xavier or S. Suburban would be appreciated, and also information of LPN to ADN option at City of Colleges.. maybe how long is the waiting lists when youre done with the prereqs? How many prereqs are there? I'm totally lost, any input is helpful. :)
