Hi! im a licensed physical therapy and soon a nurse too,im a little bit confused of what will be the best way to take?an IELTS or TOEFL?which is appropriate for these two degrees..pls.help..

There's no such thing as appropriate type of english proficiency exam specifically for that as it depends on the requirement of the state/licensing body you are applying into. Know the required exam first before trying your luck into those exams.

it will depend on where are you going to work...check out your prospect states or country but usually toefel is required in the US while IELTS in the european countries (australia too!). Hope it helps, hehehe...Goodluck to you!

plenty of threads in the forum and Philippine forum discussing language exams. US will accept both but some states prefer one to another and some states don't require it

Physical therapists are required to have a higher score on their English exams than the requirements for registered nurses. They are licensed by a different board and have different requirements.
The only thing that is the same is the requirement of the VSC. Please check with the specific board as to their requirement.

if you want to use the english profeciency both in nursing and Pt you better take the TOEFL and TSE since that profeciency is accpetable in PT
