Icu precepting

I have my fist shift in the ICU tomorrow night as a precepting student. Any advice or anything I should study up on? My clinical a have only been on med surg and step downs so I'm nervous that I'll be clueless. And help is appreciated

General ALCS protocols may be helpful. Vasoactive drips, ETT management, central lines, ECG rhythms, chest tubes. And tomorrow, keep your eyes open, ask questions, and take advantage of learning opportunities whenever possible. Good luck.

Just soak up as much as you can!! I love icu!!
