to either become a oncology registered nurse or business management. i have been in the healthcare industry since i was 15 years old. i love taking care of others (administrative, assisting a physician, mixing chemo, urgent care, etc.). i also love doing management on the business side of healthcare (case management, insurance, etc.). i am a jack of all trades and master of none. i have worked my way up in every company i have worked for, but in today's world "grandfathering" you in a position doesn't exist anymore. you now need to have a formal education with a degree to back it up....which i completely understand. i am ready to get my formal education but found myself puzzled on what i want to be.
i am 31 years old, currently enrolled in a florida community college full-time and doing the basic perquisites because i am undecided and need of some career advise. i have spoken with the college counselor, i walked away saying to myself i am still unsure because i got a basic answer without alternative avenues. i understand you have to start with the basic classes then move up but i am looking for some suggestions. i guess what i am asking is to take a test on what is the best career choices for me (if there is one). i want to make the best of my opportunities and take full advantage of being able to go school full-time without having to balance a career at the same time. don't get me wrong...my partner and i have four children and i am balancing home-life as well (as most of you).
can you give the "undecided" something to think about? :typing

Try taking a Myers-Briggs personality test. Often the results come with answers about the generalized strengths and weaknesses of the different personality types. There are a lot of them "free" online...but they are not official and not necessarily accurate. Often colleges offer them as part of career counseling.
