should I retake?

I am struggling in my BSN, tried my best but got low grades. I just committed a mistake in clinical class, not on the patient , due to my badge. It may lead to a C ,even F . Unfortunately this clinical is combined with a lecture class, so if I choose to withdraw I have to retake that course as well.

So frustrated, so regretful , so stressful, Could somebody give me a suggestion? I extremely want to boost my GPA, and I want to apply a master degree, although it is hard for me. I know many hospitals and schools select candidates by GPA, I also doubt how much bad effects of these two"w" show up on my transcripts.

Seriously, need advices. Thank you !!

What exactly was the mistake and why is it dropping your grade so low? Can the mistake be fixed or overcome?

No, it can not be fixed. It already happened. I know somebody retook their pre-nursing course. Nobody do this in nursing school? I just very care about my GPA.

I have known plenty of people in the program that I am attending that either repeated a nursing course because they failed it or they withdrew to keep from failing it and retook it.

As far as how future programs will view a W on your transcript is very program specific --- but I would venture to guess that it would be better than a D or F.
