I have a question. What is the actual and potential health concern for this situation? A 19-year-old mother bringing her 3-month-old baby in for a checkup. During the assessment, it is noted that a baby is asleep in the stroller with a bottle in the mouth and the mother is focused on her cell phone updating her social media accounts regarding a party invite for the weekend. The mother is asked multiple times about the baby’s health history, but vague details are received and the usual response is “I have to ask my mom about that.”
