So it was worth all the blood sweat and tears over those 265 questions. I am now an RN in the United States as well as the UK. And flipping my ex husband who said I couldn't do it the bird. I had faith and I had God and the determination. My two year break from the job I loved has now come to an end! Roll on many more years of nursing! Ps. The PVT worked for me!

Congrats. I test on the 25th and am so nervous. I can't imagine sitting through 265 questions because I can barely stand to do the Kaplan QT's. Do you have any advice for me?

I'm with you in that one! I test the 24th and I'm so nervous. I don't feel ready but I guess I never will. Prayers.

Well done! Is there anyway I can pick your brain about this test? I'm in my third year nursing in UK and am looking to come to the States. I'm American, so immigration isn't the problem but the NCLEX and my training may well be :). Just wanted some advise. Thanks so much!

wow congrats! I've heard its quite difficult transitioning from different countries in nursing (with the differences in scope of practice, etc) but i'm assuming nursing roles in the UK are pretty similar? Anyway big congrats!!
1KeriG Take breaks! You won't fail for not going through all 265 questions, if you find yourself dozing off or sleepy at 50 or 75 questions then take a break! I timed mine to be q50 questions.
