Do you need a personal interview? If not, there are plenty of us here. Can you just leave your questions or are you supposed to have a one-on-one sort of interactive interview? Also, what experience level or area of expertise are you looking for?
I don't need a face to face kind of thing. I just have 5 questions, then I need an email sent to my instructor saying that you answered them.
I need an LPN/LVN, an RN and a nurse paractitioner.
Thank you!!

Post your questions, Dani :).
Thanks!!! Here they are:
1. Describe the # of years/ type of education you've had.
2. What different roles have you assumed in the healthcare profession?
3. How is professionalism incorporated in your role as a nurse?
4. What advice would you offer a person beginning the nursing profession?
5. What advice would you offer a student as they work toward the completion of their degree?
Thank you so much! I'm cramming to get this paper done. Ever the procrastinator!

1. describe the # of years/ type of education you've had.
10 years. associate degree.
2. what different roles have you assumed in the healthcare profession?
i worked as a med tech in a group home and also as a research assistant for the university of mn, osteoporosis research clinic
3. how is professionalism incorporated in your role as a nurse?
professionalism is incorporated in my role as a nurse continuously. professionalism is an action, it is what i am doing while i assess, give care and comfort and follow the plan of care to the best of my ability.
it is promoting an atmosphere and conditions in which healing can take place.
4. what advice would you offer a person beginning the nursing profession?
nursing is a lot like life itself. sometimes you are going to love it and sometimes you are going to hate it. you will see humanity at its very worst and very best. you will be in contact with every bodily fluid. you will be treated like a slave, tormentor, as well as an angel and life saver. you will experience in yourself and in others every extreme of emotion.
you will wonder, at times, why you chose this profession. you will reach a point where the honeymoon is over and full implications of being a nurse will reach your consciousness. you will want to quit. but don't do it. slowly, a new appreciation will arise for what kind of impact you can have on others, not only your patients, but everyone around you. nursing is life itself. with all the horrors and victories. is it the hardest thing you have ever done? probably. is it worth it? absolutely.
5. what advice would you offer a student as they work toward the completion of their degree?
nursing school is really about jumping hurdles. are you able to handle criticism? are you able to follow a protocol, step by step, and not get rattled, including handwashing and bedmaking. can you allow yourself to be molded by your instructors without being defensive or crumbling in the face of constant scrutiny and criticism? that is what is the most important. nursing school is where you begin learning basic skills and also learn all the theoretical ground work. it will take being a new grad and getting experience before those clinical skills will be mastered.
nursing school is hard work.
i hope this helps. good luck with the paper.
