I need some advice

If you plan on staying in the US to study then for F1 status I believe it can not be a online course, will have to be at a campus and you have to show funds that you can support yourself.

For NMSU (new mexico state university)they have a program for RN-BSN. It is long distance courses.I don't know whether I can take it or not..I asked them whether they provide me I-20 form,they haven't replyed me yet.Another thing, I want to work in NY State in the future,do I need to take CGFNS? Or in thr future just go for CVS for NY state..If i need I will take it right away since my mind is still fresh for the knowleadge.Thank you.

The issue is staying in the US and I am sure that you can't do it if online as the course is supposed to be full time education (my understanding of F1). If applying for NY then you will still have to go through CVS as your initial training was outside the US but having already passed NCLEX you just need to endorse license (as long as you was issued with one)

I don't have SSN right now.I checked online my name and my RN license number has been posed.Does that mean they will maill me the license?If I do CVS and endorsement right now,will NY state of nursing board grant me a license? How long it takes from CVS.After that done,i need to fill up some form and mail it to NY board of nursing,if I understand correctly.Thank you.

CVS takes on average 4-8 months depending on how timely CGFNS send for your paperwork and the paperwork is returned back to them. CVS has to be done by them once you submit the paperwork. I believe NY will issue a license without a SSN but they can make changes but they will not issue a license until they review your documents once CGFNS have sent their file. They usually allow 6 months to receive everything before forwarding to NY BON but once your file is complete if sooner they will send it on

I applied CVS online.I mean I already paid.I have an account with CGFNS.Before I applied for CGFNS exam but I didn't pass CGFNS.I think they should have my document record,no?Should I send my transcript again to them?I really hope I will not because that will be very difficult for me,I have already graducated from nursing school for a long time and I'm in the State right now.Thank you,I just want to know how does the process goes?

For CVS CGFNS have to do all the running, that is what you pay them for and what NY require. They may be able to use what you have already sent but that is up to them
