Hi, I haven't been one of the Career Fairs in the past.If I'm planning on going to this career fair,except my resume what else should I bring? :idea:I want to be prepared, even though I kind of know the chance for getting a job is pretty low,but what the heck.Thanks a lot.

Hi,I need some help please.I'm looking for some hospitals or nursing homes to work in Stamford or Greenwich.I have sent out my resume online for 2 weeks,but so far nothing reply me back yet..Do any one know any place that hiring right now?I have some ICU and Hemodialysis experiences oversea,but I don't have any working experience in the States yet.Is that possible to find a job in hospital?

I used Saunders and Kaplan.Saunders books are very good for reviewing.Kaplan's questions are excellent for preparing for the test.I recommend on those two.

I'm living in New York too.:) It's not easy for a foreign nurse to find a job after pass NCLEX-RN.To be able to find a job, you need to have the eligible working status to work here,which means either you can find a sponsor to help you to get a H1-B visa or you are a green card holder. They are treated equally,but I'm not sure about the foreign nurses who are holding H1-B visa.

So right now I didn't receive any miss document notification from CGFNS.actually I only need to wait till they contact me.If they need something from my school,and my school didn't response them or there have missing files,are they going to contact me about it?

Hi,I have some questions about CVS.I'm doing it right now to endorse my NM nurse license to NY state. I downloaded couple of forms that CGFNS required me to sign,notarize and mail to them.Those forms are "License authorization form,transcript anthorization form and signed notarized application".Last week I received several notification email from CGFNS it said they have received all the authorization forms.I checked my order requirements,except my license validation form and transcript validation showed "waiting to be received",other all received and meet all requirements.my questions are: 1.Are those validation forms means that CGFNS will contact my school in China to complete the form by themself? 2.Why my services ordered status showed me "ready for processing"and when I click on go to see order requirements it showed me some are received and some are waiting to be received. I'm a little bit confused.Is it in the process or not..anyone who had some experience can explain to me pls?

I applied CVS online.I mean I already paid.I have an account with CGFNS.Before I applied for CGFNS exam but I didn't pass CGFNS.I think they should have my document record,no?Should I send my transcript again to them?I really hope I will not because that will be very difficult for me,I have already graducated from nursing school for a long time and I'm in the State right now.Thank you,I just want to know how does the process goes?

I don't have SSN right now.I checked online my name and my RN license number has been posed.Does that mean they will maill me the license?If I do CVS and endorsement right now,will NY state of nursing board grant me a license? How long it takes from CVS.After that done,i need to fill up some form and mail it to NY board of nursing,if I understand correctly.Thank you.

For NMSU (new mexico state university)they have a program for RN-BSN. It is long distance courses.I don't know whether I can take it or not..I asked them whether they provide me I-20 form,they haven't replyed me yet.Another thing, I want to work in NY State in the future,do I need to take CGFNS? Or in thr future just go for CVS for NY state..If i need I will take it right away since my mind is still fresh for the knowleadge.Thank you.
