I realize this is only our second week of classes, but I feel like I have finally found my tribe! I love these instructors, the material, and am so excited to be beginning this journey. It just feels like it fits. This is a second career for me and it is really reassuring that it feels this way.
Anyone else with me?

Isn't it great? I'm finishing my LPN program in April, and any time an instructor (or nurse at a clinical facility) asks me a question and the answer is right there, bang, I KNOW THIS STUFF!!! I feel so excited. Finally, something I enjoy and can do well, that I can do to support myself*! Woohoo!

Yes, I'm there too! We just finished up our second week...It's so different from all the pre-reqs; so much more interesting!

Absolutely, I feel the same way. We just finished week three, and I am loving every minute of it. I have already met so many friends that I feel like I could have in my life for a long time. My instructors, overall, are absolutely wonderful! It is tough finding time to keep up with the demanding courseloads of work, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I agree, it feels great! I am in my second semester and we began with OB/newborn and the content just really keeps me interested. I also find that the more I get to do at clinical the better I feel. I am slowly but surely becoming comfortable in the "nurse" role.
I love it!

I agree it is great, regardless of all the ups and downs. And, yes, there will be downs!! In a few more weeks, you might be tempted to pull your hair out.
