I am very intrested in becoming a nurse and working with Deliveries. I would love to specialize in Ceserean deliveries. I feel like I may be able to associate with the women since I myself have had 3 CS and also had MAJOR complications with my first one. (Infected incision, had to heal from inside out, large child) I understand the fears and worries that go along with the Ceserean birth. I also know sign language and want to be able to incorporate that into my future nursing career. I do not know where to begin, and need any advice that can be given. I am ready for long hours and hard work with amazing payoffs such as bringing a new life into this world and helping a frightened mother or father to see what is ahead and be excited about the new addition!
I want to know where to begin! I have my own cleaning company which cleans for a medical college here where I live, and anytime they have discarded books I grab all I can. I have been studing many aspects of nursing but the childbirth and pregnancy is what facinates me the most. Where do I begin? Thanks so much!!

Where to begin......find a nursing school in your area, see what their prereqs are and take those courses and then apply to nursing school. Good luck!
