I got into USI but....

I've been accepted into University of Southern Indiana FNP program. The draw back is that it was for the 4 year part time program. I am transferring credits into the program. I have 50000 in student loans already. The dilemma is should I apply for programs that get done quicker and go further into debt or stick with USI and stretch it out allowing the employer to pay for it owing them one year when I am done? Plus I am guaranteed a spot with USI applying to the others is not a guaranteed spot. I am also not sure waiting is a good idea given the job market and I could be making a salary to repay the loans. Any thoughts?

What is the difference between the FT and PT programs? 2 years vs 4 years? I say, those extra couple years will go faster than you think, especially if you are both working and going to school. Take your time and let your employer pay for it. Unless you are really miserable in your current job--that's a different story.

Congrats on getting into USI. I would do the 4 year program if I were you and let my employer pay since you already have so much debt. I agree that it will probably go faster than you think!!

Yes, I will be working full time. I was just wondering if I should try at another program to get it done faster. Getting it done faster would allow me to start paying the debt down quicker. But also be about 10000 more into debt. Thanks for helping me think this through.
