I got a date!!!!

OMG!

I didn't expect to hear this soon as I submitted application at end of June and received a letter maybe a week ago that they were backlogged and working on it. Before I sent in the app they told me it should be about "5 months" from the week that they receive it. Prior I had heard NY was usually about 4.5 months, but I knew some sites were closing and so on and figured it might be a popular time of year? And when I read yesterday on the Exelsior forum that they were currently scheduling in January for that location, well....

I'm scheduled for November 11-13 in Syracuse! Woo hoo! Now I need to get really serious here because that is about a month sooner than I had figured considering what everyone's been going through lately. I had requested that date because it's my mom's birthday, and I passed my last written exam on my (deceased) father's birthday.

OMG. I have a date. Now I know what true fear feels like!

Congrats on getting a date. I submitted my application on August 1st. I have not heard anything yet. I wish I could get mine over this year. Did you request the New york area? I requested the mpac and to be placed on the cancellation list but have yet to hear anything. Have you received a study guide yet? Good luck, Alexis :
