am I not going to make it ? =[ please help

Hello everyone. I have a big question to ask

I am currently trying to apply to a two year RN program

I've already finished LVN and passed the nclex. The problem is that my prerequisite, anatomy and micro are Cs. The cut off GPA for Ccsf is 2.5. And with those Cs I won't make it.... I was wondering if I take those classes at a different community college how would that work? Please anyone with experience help

You may be able to retake them at the school you are applying at. A lot of schools will take the higher grade. Since each school is different, your best bet is to talk to an advisor about the best course of action.

The prerequisite was at Ccsf and I'm applying for Ccsf RN ...oy

Looking at the CCSF website, only courses with a grade of D or below may be repeated, and only one repeat is allowed for a science course. So, it looks as if you are not eligible for the RN program at CCSF. Suggest you look at other programs, especially those that allow repetition of courses where a C was earned. Good luck.

The repeat is if you failed with a D or F but my situation is that I want to retake the prerequisite at another school

You can take the courses again at another school, but that won't fly with CCSF. To them, a repeat, will be a repeat. You can talk to an advisor there to clarify that point, but I don't think they make exceptions for the person that goes elsewhere to repeat the course. Otherwise, that statement about repeating science courses would not be on the site.
