I failed the NCLEX-RN

Take a short break before you pick up the books again. May even be worth waiting until the holidays are out of the way. This way you can relax properly and have a proper rest. I looked at the print out of areas I failed in but generally started studying again from scratch. After I failed the second time I found Saunders Comprehensive book and found it for me the best thing since sliced bread.

so very sorry to hear about your news but remember it is not the end of the world, you'll be just fine. please give yourself time to grieve, this is normal. in illinois your official letter usually comes within 1 week but keep in mind the holidays are here and christmas cards, packages etc. so the mail is heavier. if you do not get your official letter in 1 week it might be over 1 week. hang in there i do know where you are coming from. get yourself through the holidays so that you may enjoy them and start fresh in january.:redpinkhe as far as studying, i am recommending suzanne's plan, check it out. here's the thread 07/08 revision of suzanne's first tip. look under the student tab, scroll down to nclex-discussion, click on this and there are other threads about this plan. good luck! :icon_hug:(((((hugs!!!!!)))))

Just hang in there. I took my NCLEX for the second time this year and I foud out yesterday that I failed it again. This time I will use Suzanne's plan. I read alot of successful stories about her plan. Never give up we have come this far to just give up like that!!!! We also have a very good support system here. The folks here made me feel so much better when I thought it was the end of the world again for a second time.
