Hello everyone, this is my first time asking a question here hopefully someone will be able to help me. So I am currently in QCC graduating this semester with an associates in liberal arts. My ultimate goal is to have a master in NP so i have taken all the prerequistes i need to get into the nursing program, all i need to do it study for the exam. My problem is, I want to go straight for my bachelors in nursing and then start working for a couple of years then go back for my masters. The only CUNY schools that offer bachelors in nursing are Lehman, Hunter, York, and Staten Island. The Staten Island one is out of the question since i live in queens and i have applied to Lehman but it didn't work out for me, it was also far. My only options are York and Hunter, but Hunter requires Statistics, which i did take at QCC but got a C+, York accepts prerequiste grades C and above so I wouldn't have a problem there. Also my GPA isn't the best, its a 3.0 at the moment, which is completely unacceptable especially for Hunter. Is there no hope for me to get into Hunter? I have A's and B's in the rest of my prerequistes. I was doing research on York and people have said its not a really good school so I'm worried. If there is no possible way for me to get into Hunter then I'll have to reluctantly go to York. Any advice would help. Thank you!!
