Hunter-Bellevue A2D 2010

I want to apply for this program for NEXT summer.. I would love to hear what people have to say about the application and admission process.

So far, it's been relatively painless application process...and the admission criteria is 50% cumulative GPA from all courses taken at all colleges and 50% the NLN Exam composite score....no essays, no Resumes, no recommendations...very straightforward...Actually they just informed me that this year's accelerated program will be pushed back and will start this September...so good news for me, more time to save up money....but they send the acceptance e-mail out mid-may so just a few more weeks to find out...

I thought there'd be an interview process for the Hunter A2D program. Has anyone heard otherwise?

There is no interview...we get a e-mail on our Hunter e-mail in mid-May that says if we get in...if we get in, there is an orientation June 1st, from like 10-4pm. If you do not make it to the orientation, you forfeit your seat...it is very cut and dry...I love it :)

oh wow, now i'm nervous! All along I thought the program would start in the summer for sure, and I thought I had read that an interview was mandatory (on the application info that was provided online in Jan.) thanks so much for clarifying.

hey everyone, my contact at hunter admissions confirmed the Sept. start date and thinks there will be an interview process. Candidates will be contacted towards the end of May.

thanks for the info. actually i'm a little worried about the program, as i've gotten a bunch of different answers from the administration throughout the application process and i'm not happy about the changed start date. it makes me think they're not sure how things are going to run yet.

i got an email that gave me a date and time for a "group interview"; does anyone know if that means a group of applicants interviewed together, or a panel of interviewers?

I just got an e-mail that my overall GPA was finally reviewed by Hunter and will be passed over to the School of Nursing...and that a decision will be made within the week....

What did the group interview email state?
