I accepted Hunter's admission. I think you have to consider the cost unfortunately. In the end, either way you will receive a BSN from a well-respected nursing school, one you have debt, the other you don't. It also depends on how you want to be "treated" while you are in school, by this I mean, private vs. state schools. I went to undergrad and grad at Boston University, priced comparably to NYU, and it almost felt that I had my hand-held through many of the processes and they made it a point that I was "OK" throughout. I personally do not want that, or feel that I need that, but that is totally a personal decision. If you like more support and advisement, then the higher-priced school may be more fit to your needs. I, in no way think one is better than the other, it is totally a personal decision. With that said, hope to see you June 1st :)

They are only accepting 20 people for the accelerated program, there were 39 of us interviewed and they were axing 19 of us...we will know by MOnday....

I never got ranking...all they said is group interview, I have no idea what that means...

i have a 3.3 and 153. I ,and a few other people I spoke with, are considered for admission and have a group interview on Thursday.

I have no idea what the interview will be like...just dress nice and be ready for anything I suppose

What did the group interview email state?

I just got an e-mail that my overall GPA was finally reviewed by Hunter and will be passed over to the School of Nursing...and that a decision will be made within the week....

There is no interview...we get a e-mail on our Hunter e-mail in mid-May that says if we get in...if we get in, there is an orientation June 1st, from like 10-4pm. If you do not make it to the orientation, you forfeit your seat...it is very cut and dry...I love it :)
