Humber Practical Nursing Sept 2016

Anyone accepted or planning to attend the Practical Nursing Program at Humber North Campus in the fall of 2016 ?

More specifically the part-time program, but would love to hear from those entering the Full-Time program also.

Awesome ... Any sort of health background ?

No I did E.C.E prior to this. You?

Hey how was the admission test like. Can you give me any tips on what to study.

The admissions test wasn't too difficult if you prepared.

I would definitely know how to do all of the questions that are on the sample math test.

I got the study book that they provided and read that. I found it helpful. The chemistry and biology aren't too in depth but you need to study if you aren't taking the test straight out of high school.

me too!

I am going to humber for practical nursing at fall2016

Hey did you have difficulty registering yesterday? I found the format really crazy with there being almost 20 blocks to choose from but I got it done thankfully

I haven't registered yet actually. I have been checking the job market for RPN in Ontario and it has not been positive. Seems like new grats have to either relocate or to wait for long time even to get an interview. At least its the story in GTA. Any thought about that before entering the program? I need to talk to someone before I can fully commit to this program.

Are you in the part-time or regular 2yr program?

Hey girl, I will be hopefully starting the full time RPN program Sept 2017.

Do you mind me asking you a couple questions about the course?

Thanks :)
