HS performance

Hello most nursing schools in my state (PA) want me to have completed 2 units of math one must be algebra and completed with an C Or better I completed Algebra 1 with an 65 D.. if I do better in Algebra 2 would I get in?

I don't see how you are going to do better in Algebra 2 if you got a D in Algebra 1.  Retake Algebra 1 and get a better grade.  For your other math class, pick something easy.

You will need to understand basic Algebra in nursing to do various calculations.  Statistics is also required.  You could try statistics and see if you can get at least a C.  

Algebra is listed as a requirement. Maybe it would be helpful to take that again now to build on what you have learned. Statistics is not on the list you provided. But perhaps you could take that in Summer school? Most BSN and graduate schools require upper level statistics. I don't know if HS Stats would even qualify. When you start looking at nursing schools, that is an important question to ask.  Best wishes.

Some schools do not even accept B- or lower grades. Two failures in required prerequisites automatically disqualify an applicant from applying to the program.
