I am have been accepted into a 12 month ABSN program in the Spring. I am currently talking pathophysiology (a watered down version that I understand is probably not as hard as the one they will have in the program) at a local community college to help prepare myself for the upcoming semester. I took medical terminology this last Summer and physiology this last Spring. I am also memorizing medical abbreviations and dosage calculations, because I had seen someone on Youtube recommend to do that. Things such as qid, bid, PRN and so forth. I do look over drugs classes as well. Any other recommendations for studying? I want to prepare myself adequately. I will be spending around 65k to attend the school including housing and don’t want to make sure I don’t waste any time. I see a lot of horror stories of people getting dropped halfway through an ABSN because of being unprepared, so I really want to give myself a fighting chance at this point
