How does someone not know what diffusion is?

Just a mini-vent here then I will be done.

Since I had A&P so long ago (about 5 yrs this semester), it was recommended to me that I retake it. So I show up and at class last night there were people that honestly had no clue what diffusion was. It just shocked me that these are the same people who just completed the yr of Bio and do not know what diffusion is?? It makes me wonder two fold: one about the profs that these gals do not know what diffusion is and secondly aboutthe students that they could have made it through Bio without knowing what this is.

Hopefully, the rest of the semester will not be as :banghead:
