Depends on the fte and the unit schedule. I work 60% of a full time line. Some weeks I work 31 hours, others 15.5. In know .8 part timers that work 6 shifts and then have nine days off and then work two shifts.
yo need to look at the actual rotation. Units staff up on the busy days and reduce numbers on slow days

I'm currently working full time in a non-clinical role and I recently received an offer from a hospital for permanent part time nurse. I want to leave the full time job (I'm not happy there) for the nursing one but financially, it would hurt if part time was only one or two shifts a month or something.
So, I was wondering, for all you hospital RPNs, how many hours a week do you get as permanent part time and is your schedule fixed to certain days or not? Is there still seniority ranking for scheduling, etc?
