How long do I have to wait to get the NCLEX PN results in California?

I took the test last April 2 in Sacramento. The computer stops on question 85 and I encountered around 25 SATA questions. Unfortunately, California doesn't participate in Quick Results so I have to go through the agony of waiting it in the mail. I did the PVT and got the "good pop up"

Does anybody know the minimum wait time to wait for the result on the mail? And does your school affect the time frame of getting the results fast?

hi i also took my PN exam on 3/18 until now I havent receive my official result..and i got d good pop too...still making me nervous waiting for d official result...

I took mine march 13 received my pass from bon on the 5th of April . Drove to Sacramento and picked up temporary license today. So it does take California along time.

I took my test 4/10. Got the "good pop up". Computer shut off at 85. Anybody got results yet?

California doesn't allow quick results?

I don't know if it works for PN, but you can try looking at the BON website, to see if your name is up there. Go to Permanent Verified License check and you can maybe look up your name from there!

In CA one must wait for the BVNPT to mail out a pass letter (2-8 weeks seems to be the time range post NCLEX). Then you must mail back the form with your licensing fee before a license number will be issued.

Very different from the CA Board of Registered Nurses which posts license numbers shortly after passing if file is complete.

I took the test April 4th 2013 and got the "good pop up". Computer stop at 106 and got my result in the mail 4/20/13.. Passed the test.. PVT works for me..

The NCLEX result came in a smaller envelope. I guess size of the envelope matters if you pass or not.

Just got the results today. I passed! Pearson View Trick worked for me too. It took 16 days to get my results. Just dropped my payment to the BVNPT into the mailbox. Anyone know how long it'll take to get my actual license?
