How to get started in this career...

:saint: Hi...

Just want to ask for your opinions on how to get started with this caring career?...

I graduated last march 2007 and began my career last January but sad to say, i resigned in that primary hospital

for the reason that we are moving to another city. And in this new place, I really had a hard time looking for a job in the hospital because my experience was only for 6 months... :scrying:

I wanted to work overseas but have this anxiety to not to perform the job well overseas because of inexperience... :crying2:

Help!!!!

More info, please! What country are you in? What kind of program did you graduate from?

Here in the Philippines. Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate. I tried to volunteer myself in hospitals but there's a long list of volunteers in every hospital... :(

Try posting in the international forum. And try a more specific title such as "How does a new grad get started in the Philippines?"

Those of us not familiar with the Philippines don't have much to offer in the way of advice. Best wishes!

Moved to International for more informed input.

Jobs are almost impossible to get in the Philippines at this time.

Getting hired and getting a visa for another country are two very diffferent things as well. Most other countries have requirments of at least a year of work experience at the minimum, and about the only one that does not at this time is the US, but the wait for the green card is going to be years. Without current work experience it is going to be quite difficult to get hired.

You may need to go to an outlying province to find work at this time since you left your other job.

Best of luck to you.
