I've been looking around for a school that offers either the ADN or BSN. I am a new high school graduate and I did apply to Cal State San Marcos and got accepted, but sadly didn't pass my math class in high school with a C or better and couldn't get in afterall. I started looking around for RN programs and found West Coast University, but it's just too expensive for a BSN program, and I'm sure I wont be able to afford it, even with financial aid. I looked into community colleges in my area and so far I applied to Riverside Community College. They offer the ADN, but I need help with getting my pre reqs for the nursing program. Can someone please help me in giving me more info onto how I should sign up for the classes and which ones I would have to take to get into the nursing program at RCC. Thank-you. Anything would be appreciated.

You will take a placement test to see if you need any non credit developmental classes. If you don't, you just start on pre reqs, like ENG 111, some type of Math (I had to do a couple of developmental math courses before I could take my pre req math), Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, BIO (also possible to have to take developmental BIO first). CHEM....... PSY.....HLT...... what am I leaving out? There are several. You will spend a couple of semesters on pre reqs. Your admissions counselor will lay it all out for you.
