How did my CNA interview go?

I just got my CNA license in Florida 2 weeks ago and today I had my first interview with the rn at Avante nursing home in Orlando. I was very very nervous ... i think it went ok. She said she would forward it to the hiring manager at Avante in St. Cloud and someone would call me back then I asked how soon would I hear from someone and she said she would have her assistant call me tomorrow. I'm just so nervous I really want this job. She said since gas is so expensive maybe I can work in St.cloud closer to me or maybe here in Orlando. I hate when they throw the word "maybe"..Why would they even give me a second interview? Isn't one interview enough for a CNA position?

Have you tried a CNA forum?

oh...I just got on this website and this is my first question I don't know how to do that :)

Second interview is because they CAN!!!!! It is employers market. And if you live in St Cloud, working in St Cloud would make more sense. traffic to Orlando is the pits. Plus Kissimmee/St Cloud actually need more nurse.. not sure about CNA's but when I worked Orlando I would stand on my head to find a Kissimmee/St cloud RN.

TeeP125,

Where did you get your CNA training at ? Would you recommend the school to others ? How much should CNA cost ?
