My dear friends, i just graduated last March and i took the local board exam. Unfortuanetely, the result was not yet released until this time. I would just like to ask how i would be able to apply for NCLEX in New York. I already have the appication forms and CVS forms but i dont know what are the first thing to do after filling up the forms. What are the other requirements necessary for the application?
Im looking forward to hearing some feedbacks and comments that could help me. Thank you.

I would suggest checking out the international forum which you can find by clicking the local tab near the top of the page. If you are looking to work in NY then you will find it very hard to get a hospital to petition you for a GC. I would also suggest reading the forums on retrogression. Be prepared for a long wait whilst your application for licensure as RN especially with NY you are looking atleast 8+ months before you can sit the exam. NCLEX is jjust a part of the process you are actually applying for licensure as RN and will depend on your transcripts.
Please check out the International forum
Thank you very much for the responding my letter. I tried to join the forum but it says i still have to post 15 threads so how can i join the forum since i only have 1 thread?

think you must have clicked on the chat room, that requires 15 posts unless you have upped your membership

Moved this thread to the International Forum as there are many other things to get done before you will be given permission to sit for the NCLEX exam.
There is no application form for the NCLEX exam, what you have is an application for Licensure by Examnation for the RN role. There is no way to apply for the NCLEX exam directly, you must have permission to do so.
Highly recommend that you wait until you get your results from the NLE, it was not required that you take it, but since you did, you must have a passing result on it before you can proceed forward. On average it is also about 8 months until you will get thru the CVS process, and also not sure if you are aware that you will find is next to impossible to get petitioned for a hospital job in NY, you will be working in a nursing home with 30 to 60 patients that you are legally responsible for. Not a good thing at all.
Suggest that you do some more reading on the International Forum before sending in any applications.
