How do you apply to multiple programs?

Published

Hello,

I am currently a freshman and taking all my pre-reqs in my first year which is very hard but still doing a B average. I was wondering if someone can help me, how do people apply to various programs. I am currently at a CSU but I would love to apply to multiple programs including a community college program.

I just got all of my transcripts sent to several schools that have nursing programs (all are community colleges). I paid about a total of $40 to get all of my transcripts sent because they came from three different other campuses. I will be taking my TEAS test in December and will have those results sent in to all of the programs I will be applying to.

Depends on the program you want to apply to.

Typically, you'll submit an application in some manner (directly, through a third party website, etc) that includes official transcripts. You may also need to submit an essay, letters of recommendation, scores for a specific test, personality tests, or whatever else in that application. You will also typically need to apply to the actual university/college with an indicator that you're applying to the nursing program.

So you should check out the potential programs around you to get an idea of what their process is like.

I would contact the admissions office for each program to see what their program requires. Every school is different and may require different pre reqs and admissions test ( teas, hesi). Some require interviews, essays and letters of recommendations so it is best to check with each school. Good luck!

You should check out NursingCAS. It is a centralized application site which makes applying to multiple programs pretty easy. Go to the website and see if the programs are listed in their directory.
