1000 hours for Kaiser?

I work at Kaiser as a traveler and they want to hire me on full time but they said I need to work 1000 hours before hiring because of some contract between AMN and Kaiser. I did a previous contract at a different Kaiser so don't those hours count or does it have to be 1000 hours at the hospital I'm yrying to get hired into?

That's a question best answered by those knowledgeable about the contract- Kaiser's HR or your travel agency's.

So does anyone with some actual knowledge of the subject have any answers?

You will need to contact your agency because they will have the specifics from the contract about what counts and what does not count. Usually the hours only count from your CURRENT assignment as the contracts are with the individual hospital, not the system, on many occassions. What does the contract you signed for this assignment say?

I found out from human resourses that it is culmulative

Hi Brimyers74. I'm currently in the same situation. Did you contact Kaiser HR or your agency HR to get your answer? Also, is this an agreement between AMN and Kaiser or just a requirement of Kaiser Permanente?
