hospice interview

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help with possible hospice interview questions. As I have an interview in 2 days. What types of questions should I be specifically prepared for?

Thank you

Really depends on your experience. If you've worked hospice before, I want you to explain the hospice philosophy of care and explain the Medicare benefit to me like I'm an overwhelmed family member. Also ask specific criteria for hospice based on a diagnosis class (dementia, cardiac).

If I know you've never worked hospice, I want to know you're experience with hospice (family members, patients on your unit you've cared for, amazing hospice nurses you know)and why you want to get into hospice nursing. Need to know you understand the job and are a good fit for it. Good luck!

(I realize from the date of your post you've already interviewed -hope it went well! )
