I am giving a presentation next week on horizontal violence and thought allnurses was a great place to get some up-to-date feedback. I have already done the research and am not looking for definitions, causes, etc. Here are the questions I'd like to focus on:
Have you been a victim of horizontal violence?
Are you guilty of partaking in horizontal violence yourself? (remember, you can covertly be involved...such as eye rolling, ignoring someone, body posture, gestures, etc.)
Have you been a 3rd party who witnessed horizontal violence but did not get involved?
If you have seen horizontal violence and did get involved, what did you do?
Any personal stories that have relevance are welcome as well.
Thanks for the feedback, I think it'll be great to use in the presentation

Is this the same as lateral violence? Never heard of horizontal violence.
