Hello there, my name is Tabitha... I am in So. California. I am going on Saturday to take the pre-entrance exam to enroll into the LVN ROP program.
Is anyone familiar with the ROP program for the LVN? I want to make sure that this is going to be worth the schooling... And this is for the LVN - how do you become a LPN, is there a difference? And do they eventually offer for you to get additional certifications (IV, etc...) Sorry for the questions, and Im sure I will have more... thanks for your help! :thankya:

California and Texas refer to their basic nurses as LVNs (licensed vocational nurses).
The other 48 states refer to their basic nurses as LPNs (licensed practical nurses).
LPN and LVN are the same exact type of nurse.
