Hi

Hi!

I just wanted to introduce myself and say "hello". I've been an LPN for 34 years in Ohio. I've worked in the ER of a large hospital here the entire time.

I also just started Excelsior College to get ASN. Kind of late in life, I know;but, I see a trend starting here that I have seen before. We got a new nurse manager in July and she's advocating getting rid of as many of us as she can. Almost every LPN in my department is going back to school just to keep a job. Is anyone else having these sort of problems?

Also, has anyone gone to Excelsior for their degree? Any problems? I just started in January.
