HHC hiring process ??

Im a new grad ADB working in a nursing home and getting my BSN online;

I applied for a job at Harlem Hospital and interviewed with a few department heads, I received an email a few days later saying I was recommended for the position to HR but had to wait on an offer from HR.

This was a a few weeks ago, I'm not sure if this means I got the job or that I may potentially not hear from the ever again .

Anyone have experience with this process ??
