I have to take the HESSI exam today, BOO! I'm a Jr. in nursing school and while they don't count as a grade they're still nerve racking because the test tells you how ready you are to test for your state license . So this, on top of finals in two weeks has my nerves wrecked!
Just a vent. If you have any advice I would gladly take it!

No advice, only sympathy. I'm taking mine tomorrow in Med/Surg and Psych. I'm trying not to stress because it's not worth points but I would hate to tank it.

At least your scores don't count. Our scores do, just like a regular test. Although the good thing is we only need to get a 850 to get full points. I'm taking my med/surg tomorrow... am not panicking, yet!
I did well on mine so I am happy to pass along my HESI mojo to anyone who needs it .

I take mine on Saturday for Fundamentals. With ours you have 3 attempts if you do not pass it the 3rd time you fail the entire class. Doesn't matter if you have an A in the class currently if you do not pass the HESI you do not pass the class, period............

I did well on my HESI for Pathophysiology, but despised the test questions! The ones I got wrong, I misunderstood what they were after once I read the correct answer and rationale.
I bet the acronym HESI stands for Hateful Exam, Seriously Infuriating!!!

Good luck! I have my pedi on Saturday and maternity next wednesday. Our scores count as part of our grade, and if we don't get an 850 or better, we need to remediate over break with nclex questions. ughhh
