Hesi

Published

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is anyone going into or is already in the nursing program at UAH that has any information on what a good score on the hesi would be. I took the test a couple weeks ago and made an 85 :/. Which I'm not too thrilled about. I have a 3.7 GPA at Calhoun and I want to transfer to UAHs nursing program next spring. If anyone can help me decide if I need to tale it again or not, I would really appreciate it.

Welcome to Allnurses.com! We have relocated your thread to the Hesi Exam Help forum with the goal of eliciting replies from people who might be able to help you.

This is an interesting post. In order to graduate from the program I attended, we had to take the Hesi and pass with minimum score of 950. However, this is in Texas, so scoring might vary from state to state. If you want some advice, call their office and I'm sure they can help you with all your questions. Good luck!

Ok c511 although I am a senior in high school this year I have had a campus tour and advisor session. I was explain that as long as you completed 30 semester hours at UAH you'd have priority on admission to the program. I was then told as long as you made a 70 on the HESI that you would be accepted. So considering that your not priority but you have a 3.7 GPA and you made a good score of 85 you should have a good chance on getting accepted. She told be someone with priority got in with a 3.0gpa so it would be best if you could finish your pre reqs at the uah campus.. Also spring is less competitive than fall.
