I've taken my NCLEX exam here in Illinois and got failed twice and now my application here already expired. And Illinois required for 2 years of remedial courses and I cannot afford to do that. Can I apply to a different state and apply licensure by endorsement here in Illinois? Or Illinois would not allowed it? And what are the states can I apply and get my license? Hope someone could help me or has the same experience as me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

    You could apply for licensure in another state, but it is also possible that IL will not endorse your license because you did not meet their requirements. It may be that you can't afford not to take the remedial courses. Not only will it help you with information that needs to be learned or reinforced, it allows you to apply for licensure in IL and begin earning nursing wages once you pass.
