I have this. Can't wait to start filling in the dates on the calander :D

Its nice, I like it. Here's a run down on the Chapter headings

#1 Orientation to Nursing School

#2 Getting the Most Out of the Clinical Experience

#3 Dealing with Stress

#4 Continuing Your Education

#5 Aids to Success

It has quite a bit of info. And the calander section is great because it has Year at a glance (that you fill in to fit the months you want, then it has month by month, and also a week by week section.

Pixie, it was so funny. My shipment of this book and the Gray's Anatomy coloring book wasn't due until 9 Feb. But I got it yesterday. Right after my oral surgery yesterday morning. So now while I am recouperating, (waiting on the bone graft and stitches to heal) I will have something to peruse.

I know what you mean about "can't wait to fill in the dates" I looked through it this morning after the grogginess wore off from yesterday. I can see why this would be a big help. I love the section on medical terminology. I can envision carrying it with me through the first couple of years of nursing, just for reassurance.

Thanks for the response Pixie

Aww man! You sound like you just had a surgery something like what my dentist wants me to do! I have major bone loss and they want to do oral surgery..ok, getting queezy just thinking about it. AT $5K each quadrant, with absolutly NO guarentee that it will help at all, I told them, I'd bank that $5K X 4 and wait it out. Hoping that I'll be much older than I am now (I'll be 38 in April) and it won't much matter about dentures or implants. And! The only teeth in danger of being lost are the very last ones..uhh..yeah, so I loose those no biggie! LOL

Enjoy the book. I filled out my calander starting with March 12th...how about you..when do you start?
