:confused:I have just started working with a Home Health Agency a month ago after getting a year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility. They are being supportive in helping/teaching me wound care techniques, but I would like to know if anyone knows of any sites, books, videos etc that may help me with wound care, types of wounds, techniques in dressings....we do a lot of leg wraps, wound vacs, post op, etc. Thanks!!!

I plan to attend a wound care seminar on June 22, in New York. The place I will be going to is great for providing resources and books for reference. I'll try and remember to post again after I attend to share with you what I know. I didn't know that wound care can be so complicated, so, I plan to learn all that I can. I want to do it for home care as well. Good luck!

I attended a Wound Care Education Institute seminar for a week in Raleigh NC.
Classes are held throughout nation to prepare nurses, PTs, etc. for National Alliance of Wound Care certification exam.
