Help With Renewal??????

I HAVE ONLY BEEN AN LVN SINCE JUNE OF LAST YEAR AND MY LIC WILL EXP IN SEPT. I AM MATERNITY LEAVE RIGHT NOW AND I AM NOT SURE OF WHERE I CAN GO OUTSIDE OF WORK TO GET CEU'S, OR HOW MANY I NEED TO BE ABLE TO RENEW. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME. THANK YOU

try calling the board of nrsg in your state to find out how many CEUs you need. you can get CEUs fron nursing journals, also many sites online offer them.

I always use the Nursing Education of America. Their web site is http://www.nursingeducation.com

Don't know if this works only for RNs or not, but it will be easy enough for you to find out.

if this is your first time renewing your license then you need not do anything

the boards will send you a renewal fee of $100 turn that in and then you will receive your new license. if this is your 2nd time renewing then yes you need ceu's i believe it's 30 in cali.
