Help me understand!!! Please

Hi there,

Please help me understand how this works. If I graduate in Mississippi and I want a license to practice in Florida. Can I just test for florida right off the bat or do I need to get my license here and transfer?

You can do either. You can apply to the Florida SBON and take the NCLEX there, or you can do it in your home state and apply to Florida (with the fees, etc) for another license there. You don't lose your first license, btw.

As long as you have what's needed by Florida for licensing (check their website for info) you can do either.
