Are you scheduled for the course? If so you should be able to pick up the book for it ahead of time so you can read the first couple chapters and do the practice questions.

If you aren't scheduled you still should be able to get the book but you would probably have to pay for it outright--I was able to get mine from our staff education dept.

I'm taking TNCC for the first time later this week. I'm told the structure of the class is a little like ACLS-which I have taken.

it is easy - really you shouldn't sweat it.

athomas91 is right. It's a thousand times easier than ACLS (which isn't the worst thing in the world either.)

Thanks guys, your answers took a load off my mind.

Actually when you get the course materials for the class it usually includes a pretest which is in my case the same as the post test with the order of the questions changed around.

don't freak out when you see the book....like acls most of it isn't even mentioned in testing.
