help!

Hi everybody!! I'm new... and I need help... I don't know what to do. I'm currently attending NCC... pre-nursing... next semester I'm going to finish all my pre-requisite classes to enter the nursing program... but I can only apply for it in Oct, so I can start in spring semester of 07...and that is if I get in the program, that's a long wait!!! The counselor adviced me to take all the classes for Liberal Arts major just "in case" I don't get in the program, looks like its very competitive. I was thinking of transfering, but i don't know what other schools offer evenings RN programs... I live in nassau county. Does anybody know any other good schools??? or can somebody give me an advice? I would really appreciate it. Thank u.:uhoh21:

Farmingdale is doing starting a BSN program 2006? That is good to know.

I am currently attending NCC and will apply for the Fall 2006 semester. If I do not get in I will go back to CUNY Hunter in the city.

Good luck!

This what I have been told...they were to have started it in fall of 2005..but it did not happen... Now it is suppose to be ready for the Fall 2006.

My friend is a teacher at the college she gives me the updates

...I will continue to update when I know more...you can call the school and get more information.....

I am hoping the BSN will ready for the Fall 2007...that is when my younger daughter will be ready for college......finger's crossed...

What is the story at NCC....? Is it that diffucult to get into the Nursing program there?

That was going to be another chocie for my daughter if, Farmigdale did not have the BSN program....Farmingdale's 2 year RN program is very good...just more monery per credit then NCC......

Adelphi has a BSN program, which they've expanded to their Hauppague and NYC campuses. They now have evening and weekend classes and clinicals.

It is expensive to go there, but feel free to check it out.
